What the community means to us...

Communities play an important role in all aspects of our lives. We can find community at work, in schools, clubs, in the sports or artists we like, and in our case, the food we enjoy! Having a sense of community unites us and gives us opportunities to have cross generational and diverse cultural connections with people. In an age where technology both connects and separates us, it’s important for every person to have a strong local community, it is greatly beneficial for our health and well-being and our quality of life. Eden's Little Bakery has experienced a real sense of community especially during our Pop Ups at All Things Nice where everyone comes together in a shared passion for pastry!

The Eden’s Little Bakery success story is largely due to our community's support and has made us feel as though we are a part of something greater than ourselves, in turn we have reached out to give back in a variety of ways and there is so much more to come!

Awards

Foodbank

We started working with the local foodbank in our pop-ups, with a contribution initiative as well as donating any unsold products. We also provided croissants for some foodbank walk-in support sessions. Since opening The Bakehouse we have donated unsold products to both Epsom and Ewell foodbank pantry as well as Kingston. Schools

We work with many of our local schools and PTA's. Our most popular initiative is our Easy Peasy Fundraiser, we also donate raffle prizes to fund-raising events. As well as fundraising we have a number of schools who collaborate with us to provide them fresh baked goods for their tea mornings and events. Charities
